2025 Business2580 Awards

SECTIONS – The awards will be run in 2 sections – the Business NSW categories and the 2580 Stars categories.

TIMELINE – Wed 16th April – Announce awards opening dates etc at meeting and launch campaign on facebook/insta. Thurs 1st May – all nominations open. Fri 16th May – all nominations close/nominees notified. Fri 23rd May – voting for winners (Stars) begins. Fri 6th June – all judging/voting closes. Sat 14th June – Dinner.



Part 1 – Business NSW Awards

Nominees MUST be a member of the Business2580 group. Nominations must be entered using the forms provided, with all questions answered.  These categories will be then judged by independent judges (external of Goulburn) – judges can be sourced by a trusted 3rd party or the members of the executive team.

The winners of these categories go on to the next level awards.

  2. Outstanding Young Business Leader
  3. Outstanding Business Leader – 20 employees or under
  4. Outstanding Business Leader – 21 employees and over
  5. Employer of Choice – 20 employees and under
  6. Employer of Choice – 21 employees and over
  7. Excellence in Innovation
  8. Excellence in Sustainability
  9. Outstanding Community Organisation
  10. Outstanding New Business
  11. Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion
  12. Excellence in Micro Business
  13. Excellence in Small Business
  14. Excellence in Large Business
  15. Outstanding Visitor Experience
  16. Excellence in Sustainable Tourism



Part 2 – Business2580 Local Stars

  • ANY business can be nominated, nominate over a 2-week period
  • Nominees are notified and public voting takes place via website (via website – where only 1 vote per IP/Email address per day) – voting takes place over a 2-week period
  • No finalists announced prior to the event. Finalists (3) and the winners are announced at dinner event.
